Joining Your Therapy Session
Everything you need to join your group or individual session online — including what you'll need and how to connect step by step.
Safari not supported. Joining sessions does not work in Apple Safari. Please use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge for the best experience.
A Device
A computer, tablet, or smartphone. A computer is usually easiest, but phones and tablets work great too.
Internet Connection
A stable Wi-Fi or wired connection is best. Mobile data may work but can be less reliable.
Microphone & Speakers
To talk and listen during your session. Most laptops, tablets, and phones have these built in.
Webcam — Required
A camera is required to participate. This helps everyone feel more connected and engaged.
Browser or Teams App
You can join from a browser (Chrome or Edge recommended). The Microsoft Teams app works even better.

- 🖥️ Windows 10 or 11 — Teams app or Chrome/Edge browser Best
- 🍎 macOS — Teams app or Chrome browser Best
- 📱 iPhone / iPad — Teams app from the App Store Good
- 🤖 Android phone / tablet — Teams app from Google Play Good
- 🖥️ Older Windows or Mac — May work, but can have issues May vary
- 🐧 Linux — Supported browser only Limited
How to Join Your Session
Follow these steps when it's time to connect to your group or individual session.
Log in to the patient portal and find the link for your Group or Individual session on your homepage.
A window may appear asking you to open Microsoft Teams. Cancel or dismiss that popup.
Select "Continue on this browser" to join directly without installing anything. (Chrome or Edge work best — Safari is not supported.)
Your browser will ask permission to use your camera and microphone. Click "Allow" — this is required to participate.
Type your name so your therapist can identify you, then click "Join Now". Your therapist will be notified you're waiting and will admit you shortly.
